Agisano Community Project is a South African organisation committed to improving public school systems and learner development in communities that have long been under-resourced. Our name — Agisano — means "agreement" or "coming together," and it reflects how we work: alongside schools, teachers, parents, and learners, not apart from them.
Too many learners in South Africa's public schools are capable of far more than the system currently allows for. Overcrowded classrooms, limited access to technology, under-resourced sports programmes, and little room for personal development mean that academic potential is too often left untapped.
The Future-Ready Schools Initiative is our response — a holistic, four-pillar model that brings academic support, digital literacy, sports development, and life skills programming into one coordinated effort, so that learner development is addressed as a whole, not in isolated pieces.
We work in close partnership with school leadership, governing bodies, and local community structures to ensure every programme we introduce is sustainable, relevant, and owned by the community it serves.
